VR PLAY: Virtual Reality Guidelines
The VR PLAY Guidelines include 5 categories and 33 principles intended to help developers, designers, and user researchers create more usable and playable VR games and experiences.
Virtual reality, in comparison to traditional console and PC games, introduces several unique playability and usability challenges. Each VR PLAY Guideline includes a short summary suggesting how designers and researchers can apply certain principles to effectively meet those challenges as a result of our insights.
Additionally, each section provides examples of published VR titles that adhere to or violate the principles as a demonstration of how a heuristic may be used.
